BuddyPress Options

Edufire comes with dedicated BuddyPress and BuddyBoss Platform Support. Now you can Move your E-commerce website to a Social Marketplace Website, with this feature customers and vendors can make better communication which will help to increase sales.
For BuddyPress related settings, Navigate to WordPress Dashboard> Edufire > BuddyPress

This section has the following options:

  • Desktop View Header Icons: Enable/Disable the icons you want to be displayed on your site’s header in desktop view.
    • Show User Avatar on Header: Enable this option to show the user avatar on the header.
    • Show User Notification on Header: Enable this option to show the notification icon on the header.
    • Show User Message on Header: Enable this option to show the message icon on the header.
  • Desktop View Header Icons: Enable/Disable the icons you want to be displayed on your site’s header in mobile view.
    • Show User Avatar on Header: Enable this option to show the user avatar on the header in mobile view.
    • Show User Notification on Header: Enable this option to show the notification icon on the header in mobile view.
    • Show User Message on Header: Enable this option to show the message icon on the header in mobile view.
  • Sidebar Option: This section is totally dedicated to the setting of the sidebar on BuddyPress pages. This section has further some more options :
    • Single Member Sidebar: Select the sidebar to show on the single-member profile. It can be
      • Left Sidebar Layout
      • Right Sidebar Layout
      • No Sidebar Layout
    • Single Member sidebar widget: Choose the widgets that will be displayed on your selected sidebar.
    • Single Group Sidebar: Select the sidebar to show on the single-group profile. It can be :
      • Left Sidebar Layout
      • Right Sidebar Layout
      • No Sidebar Layout
    • Single group sidebar widget: Choose the widgets that will be displayed on your selected sidebar.

Note: For setting up the widgets navigate to Appereance> widgets section.

  • Member Directory Options :
    • Customize member cover background: Enable this option if you want a customizable member cover image.
    • Set default cover image: Set the default cover image which will be displayed in the member’s directory for all the members who haven’t set their cover photos.
  • Group Directory Options :
    • Customize member cover background: Enable this option if you want a customizable group cover image.
    • Set default cover image: Set the default cover image which will be displayed in the group’s directory for all the members who haven’t set their cover photos.
